You have probably heard of Drexel School of Medicine's exclusive, premier, "crème de la crème" training program for women seeking positions in medicine as academic chairs and deans--Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine(ELAM). But have you heard of their new program Executive Leadership in Health Care (ELH) for women with aspirations to executive-level health system roles? No, well girl let me give you the 411:
ELAM is the premier leadership training program for women faculty in academic medicine, dentistry, public health and pharmacy. The year-long part-time fellowship program is dedicated to developing the professional and personal skills required to lead and manage in today's complex health care environment, with special attention to the unique challenges facing women in leadership positions.
ELH is targeted to rising women at the equivalent of the associate professor level who are established experts in their domain with program level leadership, institutional level responsibilities (operational or strategic management), and aspirations to executive-level health system roles.
